Love the leather on these boots. Shiny. Not sure this is *really* evident in the pics. Texture goes well with a shiny bag of any color.
Like that one can protect them and wear them as rain boots or in the winter. Lining is warm but not too bulky, so a good fall/spring boot, as well. It rains a lot here, and "Hunter" boots are in, here. I like them, but find they look terrible with fancier outfits.
A 4 out of 5 ONLY because, as a previous poster already mentioned, they fit a little loose just under the knee. Not completely out with respect to skinny jeans, though they could fit a little more snug in the calf area.

Fell in love with this boot as soon as I put ut on. It was immediatley comfortable and I consider it to be a well made product. I feel as though the money was well spent. I especially liked the fact that I was buying footwear that is not made in China.

These boots have a wider calf than most boots. The heel doesn't slip and it is a super comfortable boot!
