In the last few years, I've had lot's of trouble with any shoes, esp. sandals, with a heel. I bought these in the sterling color, wore them for five hours last night, and have already decided to buy them in the champagne color. I had absolutely no pain in my arch, bunion area, back, knees, or hips at the end of the evening. My somewhat narrow foot did not slide through the shoe. I think the wide, decorative strap actually held my foot in the shoe. I discovered Naot last year when I bought a flatter sandal called Rachel. It has been comfortable although I've noticed the straps stretching out a bit. I'm hoping this new pair, Afrpdota, will not stretch. This style is very attractive for a comfy heel.

I have these in black: they are blissfully comfortable, yet look fashionable *not* practical. Who'd guess your foot's cradled in a padded sole, with a bit of arch support? They're perfect for work or for a non-dressy evening out. Last summer, these were my go-to work sandals.
Recently, I found they're also perfect for wedding dress shopping. My other heels hurt after hours of dress-trying! Of course, they're too casual to wear for the ceremony, but when I found these babies came in champagne, I promptly bought them for the reception. Comfy comfy comfy yet far more attractive than the alternatives!
